Diamond-Like-Carbon-coating
Like with other Wüsthof collections the blade is made from X50CrMoV15 steel, which was sharpened according to the PEtec method. These knives, however, are completely black, with a non-reflective black DLC coating on the blade. DLC-coating stands for Diamond-Like-Carbon-coating. Non-slip handle
The handle is made from polyamide and is for 15% reinforced with fibreglass to make sure the material doesn't wear out.
